By bringing sustainable employment directly into their households, Loyi allows these artisans to work from the comfort of their own homes, fostering a profound shift in domestic respect. Recently, while deeply focused on a complex embroidery pattern, one of our artisans was asked by her husband to pause and make tea. Without breaking her stitch, she looked up with immense pride and simply replied: “I am employed now.”
